Taking a quiet walk on a chilly day in Yonkers, New York in 1920

Walk with me. Today we're in Yonkers, New York, and it's 1920. Watch your step, there's still snow on the ground, and slush, and maybe even some ice. We're on Broadway, where it curves around.

No one is around, I guess because it's too early. I suppose when they open, we can go to Decker's for some fish. Do you like fish? I really don't, but if I did, that's where I'd go.

Looking in the window I don't see any fish. I'm looking for our reflection, but I don't see that, either. I wonder if we're really here? It's so quiet this morning, and I can hear our feet crunch on the snow and slush. You know, I remember a day...

A-OOoogah! Yikes! Look out behind you! We're standing in the middle of the street, you know!
